Google Accessible Search

Google has a new search engine available, designed specifically for blind users, called Accessible Search. It alters the PageRank to favor sites who have taken measures to ensure accessibility for blind and other diabled users. In their FAQ they cite the W3C's WCAG 1.0 as the primary resource they used to evaluate the level of accessibility within each search result.

Personally I find it a bit odd that their own search result pages failed to meet the guidelines. Seems like it misses the target audience. It's still in the obligatory beta phase so we'll see what happens. I sent some feedback, a few more responses would probably help!
